AMMA panel to probe memory card scandal

The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists has instituted a five-member investigation committee to examine allegations surrounding a so-called "memory card" incident that embroiled the Malayalam film fraternity.

The committee’s mandate is to collect evidence and provide a report within 60 days, amid mounting concerns over internal discord and reputational damage. The panel is chaired by Shwetha Menon and includes veteran actors Joy Mathew, Devan, Sreelatha Namboothiri and Sreelatha Parameswaran. All five will oversee the collection of statements from actresses implicated in the controversy.
