76th R-Day Marked With Patriotism and Fervour

EVENTFUL | Gautam Tatwal inspects parade in an open jeep
On the occasion of 76th Republic Day, the main ceremony was held at Dussehra Maidan under the presence of minister of state for skill development and employment and district in-charge Gautam Tetwal.
The programme began with the in-charge minister arriving at the venue, hoisting the National Flag and the recital of the National Anthem.
Following this, the minister inspected the parade in an open jeep and released balloons in the sky as a symbol of joy.
During this, the Kalapathak group performed the Madhya Pradesh Anthem.
The minister also read out the Chief Minister's message.
Later, the parade team raised slogans of 'Rashtrapati ki Jai' and fired celebratory shots.
The parade was led by parade commander reserve inspector Ranjeet Singh and second parade commander Subedar Swati Kamle with participation from the 32nd Battalion Special Armed Forces, District Police Force Men's Platoon, District Police Force Women's Platoon, District Home Guard Platoon, 10 MP Battalion NCC Government Girls PG College, 02 MP Battalion NCC Bharatiya Gyanpeeth, 10 MP Battalion NCC Government Girls, 02 MP Battalion NCC Government Higher Secondary School, 01 MP Naval Unit NCC Government Higher Secondary School, NSS, Nagar Suraksha Samiti and the Police Band.
The minister interacted with all parade commanders.
He also honoured freedom fighters and democracy warriors with shawls and fruits.
The ceremony also featured cultural performances.
First, students from Government Higher Secondary School, Dussehra Maidan and Excellence Higher Secondary School, Madhav Nagar, performed a PT drill.
