Young Indians Choose Startups Over MNC Jobs: RBI Chief

The country has around 150,000 recognised startups
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Sanjay Malhotra said that the mindset of India's young generation has changed remarkably over the years, with many now preferring to become entrepreneurs rather than seeking jobs in multinational companies (MNCs).
Highlighting the shift, Malhotra said, "When I left college, getting a job in an MNC was the preferred choice. None took up the challenge of starting a venture of his own. In recent years, however, a large number of engineering and management graduates are turning to entrepreneurship and start-ups."
