‘VB-G RAM G act reflects transparency’, says N Ramchander Rao

BJP Telangana State President N Ramchander Rao on Saturday said the newly introduced VB-G RAM G Act marks a new era of transparency, accountability and financial discipline in rural employment schemes.
He observed that while employment guarantee programmes have existed in India since the 1960s, almost every earlier scheme suffered from structural deficiencies, large-scale leakages and corruption, ultimately denying justice to the rural poor.
