Uorfi Javed reflects on body dysmorphia, fame, and self-acceptance

Actor, content creator and fashion influencer Uorfi Javed delivered a heartfelt and unfiltered conversation at the We Women Want Conclave & Shakti Awards 2025, where she was felicitated with the NewsX Shakti Award for Excellence in Fashion.
Speaking with Uday Pratap Singh, Senior Editor at NewsX, Uorfi discussed body image, societal beauty standards, cosmetic fillers, and her personal journey toward self-acceptance.
Reflecting on her evolution from being trolled online to winning recognition, Uorfi said, "When I started, people said 'what is this girl doing?' Now, I'm winning awards for it. It feels great to be validated."
