SPECIAL ADVISORY ISSUED IN GURUGRAM, FARIDABAD AHEAD OF G20 SUMMIT

A special advisory has been issued in Haryana's Faridabad and Gurugram districts regarding the G20 summit that will begin on Saturday in New Delhi. While issuing the advisory, the Gurugram administration advised all corporate and private organisations to direct their employees to work from home.

The administration hopes that doing so will help control traffic on National Highway (NH) 48. Further instructions state that the employees of such companies and local people should travel only when necessary.

Gurugram's Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav has appealed to the people that all citizens should be careful about travelling between 8 and 10 September and asked residents to leave their houses only when necessary to avoid crowding or congestion. In the advisory issued by the Gurugram administration, all corporate offices and private institutions in the district have been advised to direct their employees to work from home tomorrow i.e. on 8 September 2023. However, this is likely to cause some amount of inconvenience to people, especially those who need to travel.
