Rajnath hails joint forces in Operation Sindoor

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said the combined strength of the Army, Navy and Air Force enabled Operation Sindoor to be executed in record time, as he performed Shastra Pooja at the Bhuj Military Base on the occasion of Vijayadashami.
Singh paid homage to the L-70 Air Defence Gun, which proved decisive during the operation, in the presence of Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi and Southern Army Commander Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth.
The gun, capable of firing 300 rounds per minute and engaging targets up to 3,500 metres, was credited with downing Pakistani drones during the operation.
