The Jodhpur bench of Rajasthan High Court in the case Mahesh Kumar Pal v Mr. T. Ravikanth & Ors observed and has directed the petitioner to implead the then concerned Collector, Subdivisional Officer and Tehsildar to seek their stand, warning them of punishment which includes "jail sentence" if they don't pay heed to court orders.

The Division bench comprising of Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava and Justice Munnuri Laxman was hearing the present matter.
The bench in the case was hearing a contempt petition filed by the petitioner wherein it alleged wilful disobedience of the order passed by the Court on February 7, 2022 by the District Collector, Jodhpur who also happened to be the Chairman of Public Land Protection Cell,Jodhpur constituted bythe Court in its order dated January 30, 2019.
