Cong leader backs statement saying time for introspection within party

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's explosive statement that some party leaders were working in favour of the BJP has triggered political tremors in Haryana as well, with a section of state Congress leaders backing his claim as the grand-old party was facing crises in Haryana due to infightings.

The remark, made during his two-day visit to Gujarat, has deepened internal fault lines within the party, reigniting concerns over loyalty and ideological commitment.

Senior Haryana Congress leader and former Union Minister Kumari Selja has come out in support of Gandhi's assertion, stating that his words should not be taken lightly. "Rahul ji's every statement has deep meaning and is based on facts. If he has said this, then every Congress leader and worker should take it seriously and act accordingly," she remarked, calling for introspection within the party ranks.
