NDA Finalises Bihar Seat-Sharing; Announcement Expected Soon

The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has almost finalised its seat-sharing arrangement for the 243-member Bihar Assembly, with an announcement expected in the first week of September.
According to senior BJP leaders, Janata Dal (United) is set to contest 102 seats, the BJP 101 seats, Lok Janshakti Party 20 seats, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) 10 seats and Lok Samata Party 10 seats. With this, a consensus has been reached over all 243 constituencies.
