MP: 10-yr-old girl raped in Guna, found in unconscious state

In a shocking incident, a 10-year-old girl was raped and was found in an unconscious state at the spot in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district, a police officer said.

The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Myana police station in the district on Wednesday night. On getting the information, the police rushed to the site and sent the minor to the district hospital and later she was referred to Bhopal for further treatment, the police added.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP, Guna) Vivek Ashthana told ANI, "A woman along with her 10-year-old daughter came to a village to sell maize and grind wheat (in a haat bazaar). After completing her task, when she was returning with her daughter, an unidentified person around 30 years old on a bike intervened and said that some money of maize was left and he would help to get it from the shopkeeper."
