MCD Intensifies Sterilisation Drive to Tackle Stray Dog Menace in Delhi

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has ramped up efforts to tackle the growing menace of stray dogs across the national capital, following a meeting of a special sub-committee dedicated to the issue.

The sub-committee, formed under the leadership of Standing Committee Chairperson Satya Sharma, convened earlier on Wednesday with Standing Committee Vice-Chairman Sunder Singh presiding over the session.

In a bid to accelerate the dog sterilisation programme, the committee has decided to re-engage with NGOs currently involved in the campaign while also bringing on board more capable and experienced organisations.
