Indian comedian Kapil Sharma's Kap's Café in Surrey was reportedly targeted by gunfire for the second time in under a month, according to Indo-Canadian Voice.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, has sparked fresh concerns about gang-linked violence targeting Indian-origin celebrities abroad.
A viral social media post allegedly shared by gangster Goldy Dhillon and linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the latest shooting. The post read: "Jai Shri Ram... Goldy Dhillon and Lawrence Bishnoi gang take responsibility for today's firing at Kap's Café in Surrey. Next action will take place in Mumbai."
