Senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda has once again demonstrated his significant influence within the party by securing a major share of the ticket allotments for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections on October 5.
According to internal party sources, despite intense lobbying by rival factions and numerous surveys conducted by private agencies to identify candidates on factor of winning chances, Hooda successfully secured over 70 seats for his supporters out of the 89 that Congress is contesting in the 90-member Haryana assembly. This overwhelming support highlights Hooda's dominant position within the party, even though an official announcement regarding the chief ministerial candidate remains pending.
