Himachal LoP furious over laxity in disaster relief

It has been 24 days since the disaster in the state, but the government has not been able to announce a special relief package yet.

This was said by Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur in a statement issued from Shimla. He surrounded the government and said that the disaster-affected people are still waiting for relief and rehabilitation, but the attitude of the government is very disappointing.

Jairam Thakur said that ever since the disaster has come, a special relief package was expected from the government. But till now only rhetoric is being done. "The Chief Minister is requested to immediately announce a special relief package for the disaster affected, so that their wounds can be healed," he said.
