Heavy rain forecast in Jammu; flash flood warning issued

The Meteorological Department on Tuesday issued a weather advisory predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall in parts of Jammu division from August 13 to 15, warning of possible flash floods, landslides, mudslides, and shooting stones in vulnerable areas.
A MeT official said the weather is likely to remain generally cloudy with light to moderate rain or thundershowers at many places. Isolated to scattered areas of Jammu division—including Reasi, Udhampur, Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Doda, and Rajouri—may experience heavy to very heavy showers, particularly during night
