Haryana Unveils Plans to Build Four-Lane Expressway Connecting Yamunanagar with Kurukshetra

The 75-km ambitious project is set to transform connectivity between two major northern districts
In a move to strengthen infrastructure and alleviate chronic traffic congestion in several towns of northern Haryana, the state government has unveiled plans for the Yamunanagar-Kurukshetra-Pehowa Highway, a vital four-lane corridor connecting the industrial hub of Yamunanagar with the culturally significant town of Pehowa in Kurukshetra district.
This 75 km ambitious project, which traverses Ladwa, the constituency of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini, is set to transform connectivity between two major northern districts, fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life for millions of residents and travellers. According to the chief minister, the Pehowa in Kurukshetra to Yamunanagar would be made four-lane, fulfilling the long pending demand of the people of northern districts of Haryana.
"The DPR (Detailed Project Report) for this highway has been completed, and an announcement regarding it can be made anytime soon.
