HAIR RESTORATION: THE TRUTH BEHIND THE MYTHS

When it comes to hair restoration, there are a lot of myths and misconceptions that most people suffer from, especially those looking for help with hair loss. However, the industry has been damaged by exaggerated claims of miraculous hair restoration treatments that often promise 100% restoration without clearly defined methods. The hard reality is that hair restoration is not easy, and the treatment results vary from person to person. There has indeed been much improvement in surgical and nonsurgical hair loss treatments. However, it should be noted that no treatment can guarantee a perfect or "magical" result for any patient. Various factors help determine the degree of success of hair restoration procedures, such as the cause of hair loss, the patient's age and genetics, and the treatment approach used. This article aims to clarify hair restoration confusion by differentiating between myths and facts regarding this field.

HAIR LOSS AND ITS IMPACT: WHO EXPERIENCES IT?

Hair restoration is often thought of as a male-specific procedure. According to statistics, by the age of fifty, at least half of the male population suffers from male-pattern baldness.

However, this does not indicate that the problem is restricted to men; females also experience significant hair loss, with scalp hair thinning occurring in around 40% of women by the age of 40.

Imbalances in hormones, childbirth, menopause, or even ailments such as polycystic ovarian syndrome are other contributors to hair loss in females.

Thus, those who wish to undergo treatment must understand that hair restoration is effective for both men and women.

MERCEDES-BENZ GLS450d 4MATIC REVIEW

Cruising serenely at the Yamuna Expressway at around 90 km/h, I was passed by another GLS, that too in the same shade of Black, which compelled me to increase my pace to check if it’s a 450d as well or the previous 400d. Turns out it’s a 400d, and though I had the more powerful car, I slowed down as I didn’t want to give him an impression that I was trying to race.
