FROM VILLAGE RING TO “GLOBAL HANDLER’ FOR ELDER BROTHER: ANMOL BISHNOI

Wanted gangster Anmol Bishnoi being brought to Delhi's Patiala House court after he was arrested by NIA upon his extradition to India from the US, in New Delhi on Wednesday.

On the night of November 18, 2025, Delhi police quietly prepared to receive one of India’s most-wanted fugitives.

A chartered flight from the United States touched down at Delhi's IGI Airport, and 25-year-old Anmol Bishnoi ~ younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi ~ walked down the stairs flanked by federal agents. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had coordinated his handover; Anmol, a former state-level boxer from Duttaranwali village in Punjab, had just been deported from the U.S. to face Indian charges. His arrival marked a major breakthrough in a sprawling terror-gangster probe. Once known only as “Lawrence's brother,” Anmol now stands accused of orchestrating a web of crimes from rural Punjab to Sacramento, including the murders of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and NCP leader Baba Siddique.
