Biplab Deb slams Mamata, says Bengal has become unsafe

Former Tripura Chief Minister and Tripura West MP Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, alleging that the state has become unsafe due to large-scale infiltration and accusing her of posing a threat to national security.

Deb made the remarks while speaking at the India News Manch, the popular political conclave organized by the ITV Network.
Raising concerns over alleged Bangladeshi infiltration as a whole. “Bengal is not important only for the Bharatiya Janata Party, it is important for the country. West Bengal has to be made strong again,” he said.
