Speaking to the media on Tuesday, senior AIADMK leader Selur Raju welcomed Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay to politics and went a step further inviting him to join the AIADMK alliance.
Former minister Selu Raju said, “Like MG Ramachandran (MGR), Vijay also wants to do service for the people and I congratulate him for this. He is yet to talk about the ideology and principles with regard to his party, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. As far as AIADMK is concerned, the party doesn’t approach any party to form an alliance – till date we have not done that. If someone wants to form an alliance with us, they approach us.
