ABVP sweeps DUSU polls, HC slams poll violations

The BJP-affiliated Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) secured a decisive victory in the Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections on Friday, clinching three ofthefourtop posts, including President, Secretary, and Joint Secretary.
The Congress-backed National Students’ Union of India (NSUD) managed tobag the Vice President's post.
According to the final tally, ABVP’s Aryan Maan won the presidency with 28,821 votes, defeating NSUT's Joslyn Nandita Choudhary, who polled 12,645, while Left-backed candidate Anjali finished third, NSUI’s Rahul Jhansla emerged as Vice President with 29,339 votes, trouncing ABVP’s Govind Tanwa. ABVP’s Kunal Chaudhary and Deepika Jha won the Secretary and Joint Secretary posts with 23,779 and 21,825 votes, respectively.
