On most Saturdays, I start with an early morning group cycle around the Cape Peninsula. The scenery and what Cape Town offers make it clear why it is voted the number one city in the world.

My cycling group consists of an older crew from various walks of life. We have some seasoned professionals, some entrepreneurs, a university professor, a couple of retirees, and one or two widows. As we were riding on a beautiful windless day through Scarborough, we were chatting about money regrets and lessons. We got to what would we do differently, knowing what we know now, if we were starting out. Being one of the younger riders in the group, I found their responses interesting and share them here:
