Bosch believes Proteas can hit back

Having been narrowly edged out yesterday in a two-wicket defeat, all-rounder Corbin Bosch is confident South Africa can hit back against Pakistan in their three-match one-day international (ODI) series in Faisalabad.

Relying on an under-strength squad, with multiple senior players being rested ahead of an upcoming tour of India, the SA team put up a fight but ultimately fell short in a nail-biting opening ODI fixture.

"All the guys have been working hard and we're not far away from putting in a really good performance," Bosch said after the game.

"We have top-class spinners, top-class seamers and top-class batters, so I think we're not far off from really giving Pakistan a good run."
