YOANE Wissa admits that he has visualised running on to the hallowed turf at St James’ Park every single day since signing for Newcastle United.

- By LEE RYDER Chief Newcastle writer

The DR Congo star was stricken by a worrying knee injury which left him sidelined for 88 days.

But any feelings of anxiety evaporated into the mild December air at St James’ Park as he made his debut to a raucous reception with 15 minutes left against Burnley. Wissa had just 10 touches, but played his part ina narrow victory.

After the game Wissa caught up with The Chronicle in the mixed Zone, and told us: “It has been a long wait for me, for the fans and for my family. It is something | have been dreaming of all summer, and when it finally happened, you feel like you are living the dream.
