IN JANUARY, our Sixth Form Physics group had the amazing opportunity to visit CERN on the Swiss-French border near Geneva as part of the course.
One of the many highlights was learning about plasma research in the Swiss Plasma Centre. We saw a pink plasma display and researchers’ work on nuclear fusion with great potential for energy production.
