John and Eileen Atkins celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary
A HAPPY Northumberland couple have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary - and their secret to a happy marriage might be the odd whisky and water.
John and Eileen Atkins are both residents at their RMBI Care home in Cramlington, and recently celebrated their loving relationship.
They celebrated their special day at Scarbrough Court, where they have lived together since March this year, with a wedding-themed party.
A singer also performed a song that is close to their hearts as the two danced.
