THE road between Hotton and Weatherfield has probably never been as busy as it is during Monday's episodes of Emmerdale and Corrie.

Many of the latter's residents are still at Ronnie and Debbie's wedding reception when the week's action begins.

The bride, however, is not - she’s trapped in a car with a drunken Carl, whose deception has been exposed. He confronts his half-sister about his dying mother, leaving her terrified as he weaves across the Tarmac.
