New chief keen for key duo to sign new deals

United transfer chief Ross Wilson has revealed that both Tino Livramento and Sven Botman WILL be offered new contracts at St James’ Park.The former Nottingham Forest supremo is not concerned about Sandro Tonali’s future with the Italy international tied down until 2029. But with Livramento linked with Manchester City and Liverpool and Chelsea looking at Botman, Wilson admitted that extensions are being discussed.

Wilson told reporters at a briefing at Shearer's this week: “My first three or four days in the job was when I found that Sandro’s contract situation was significantly better than the one I was expecting. My first days were about analysing contracts - where are we, where are we strong, where are we weak, where have we got issues?
