Meet the man advising Isak in transfer window

The Newcastle United forward is now reported to be refusing to play for the club where he’s netted 62 goals in 109 matches, as he seeks to secure a move to Liverpool before the transfer window closes.

His decision, especially its timing, has raised many eyebrows. However, the situation arguably becomes clearer when considering Lemic, pictured right, is one of the advisors who has been guiding Isak over the past few weeks.

The world of football agency involves making strategic power moves and pitting parties against each other. These are skills the 59-year-old has honed during more than 25 years in the industry.

What began as helping players from Serbia move to the Netherlands has grown into Universal Twenty Two, one of the world’s biggest agencies.
