Community football club pitch is left unplayable

A COMMUNITY football club in Gateshead has made a plea for support after its pitch suffered £2,000 worth of damage.
Newcastle Dynamo FC, based under the Angel of the North, in Ravensworth Park, Lamesley, is reeling after staff discovered the state of the pitch.
The club is in its infancy, having been founded around 18 months ago and taking ownership of the pitch from Gateshead Council in November of last year.
In the summer, its goals were damaged, something which was reported to police, but the ongoing issue has escalated from there.
