Cashpoint 'forcefully removed' in burglary

A CASHPOINT was "forcefully removed" from a Coop in a usually quiet Northumberland village.
Now a councillor says he wants to work with the Coop on Main Road in Wylam, after the cashpoint raid in the early hours of Monday morning.
There have been several incidences of robberies and burglaries since the store opened in September 2017, and the latest has caused serious damage.
