NEWCASTLE United will give Joelinton every chance to prove his fitness ahead of a crucial week for the Magpies.
The 29-year-old has not featured since the 3-2 home defeat against Liverpool when he hobbled off with a groin injury, but Eddie Howe forecasted he could be back in contention for the clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers after the international break.
Joelinton has been back in training and could return to Howe's midfield but club medics continue to keep an eye on the groin injury that ruled him out of the 0-0 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road.
