Diabetic mum-of-four stuck in Morocco after catching sick bug

AN ELLESMERE Port mum is stuck more than 2,000 miles away from home after falling ill while on her dream holiday.
Rebecca Russell, 32, has been in an intensive care unit (ICU) for more than a week after she started being sick just days into her holiday to Morocco.
The mum-of-four was away with her fiance Sam Bindley, 32, and their two friends.
The group arrived in the country on Sunday, June 22, and enjoyed the "best" few days before Rebecca took ill.
Her friend Molly Beetson, 31, from Chester, told how Rebecca - known as Becca to her friends - started being sick three days into the holiday.
However, when things took a serious turn two days later, her partner of 12 years Sam, who she is set to marry in September, phoned for an ambulance.
She was immediately admitted to a hospital ICU where she has been in a critical condition for over a week.
