TN: Vijay's TVK opposes NEET, Waqf Bill, and One Nation One Election

The assembly, chaired by Vijay, focused on opposing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), the proposal for 'One Nation, One Election,' and the Waqf Amendment Bill.

These resolutions highlight the party's commitment to state autonomy and its stance against central government policies perceived as undermining regional governance.

One of the central concerns raised by TVK during the meeting was the impact of NEET on Tamil Nadu's education system.

The party's resolution articulated a demand for education to be exclusively listed in the State List rather than the Concurrent List, allowing the state government greater control over educational policies.

The TVK argued that if the Union Government were to shift education to the State List, the Tamil Nadu government could independently revoke NEET, which they view as an imposition from the central authority.
