Tide Report: 47% of Indian women struggle with credit access

According to a report by Tide, a UK-based business financial platform released on Wednesday, 47 percent of women encounter difficulties in obtaining credit.

Tide India conducted a survey for its inaugural Bharat Women Aspiration Index BWAI), polling over 1,200 new and established business owners aged 18-55 from Tier-II towns. The report also highlighted that 95 percent of women admitted to being unaware of government financial schemes or initiatives available to support their businesses.
However, the report has shown that there are 52 per cent of women entrepreneurs with access to financial credit, indicating that one in two entrepreneurs has access to finance.
