SUPREME COURT COLLEGIUM RECOMMENDED APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHIEF JUSTICE IN 5 HIGH COURTS

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the names for the appointment as chief justices of five High Courts The names are as follows: Justice Arun Bhansali, the Judge of Rajasthan High Court as the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court The Supreme Court Collegium stated that his contribution to the judiciary by way of disposal of cases, during his tenure of nearly eleven years as the Judge of the High Court, he has authored more than 1230 reported judgments.

Justice Arun Bhansali has acquired extensive experience in dispensing justice in the Rajasthan High Court and he is being considered to be a competent judge with sound legal acumen and, would therefore be an eminently suitable choice to be elevated as Chief Justice of the largest High Court in the country.

Justice Vijay Bishnoi, the Judge of Rajasthan High Court as the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court The Supreme Court Collegium stated that his contribution to the judiciary by way of disposal of cases, during his tenure of nearly eleven years as a Judge of High Court, he has authored 652 reported judgments.

Justice Vijay Bishnoi has acquired extensive experience in dispensing the justice in the Rajasthan High

Court and he has maintained a high order of professional ethics at the Bar and the Bench. Thus, the conduct of him and the integrity are beyond reproach.
