SC RESERVES ORDER ON KEJRIWAL'S BAIL PLEA IN EXCISE POLICY CASE

The Supreme Court on Thursday reserved its decision on the pleas filed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is seeking bail and has challenged the Delhi High Court's order upholding his arrest by the CBI in connection with a corruption case related to the alleged excise policy scam. A bench comprising Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan heard arguments from Additional Solicitor General S V Raju, representing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, representing Kejriwal. After considering the arguments from both sides, the bench reserved its judgment.
