PM Modi urges morale boost for trapped workers in Uttarakhand

In a critical update on the ongoing rescue operations at the Silkyara tunnel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in a conversation with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on November 20.

The conversation aimed to assess the progress and ensure comprehensive support for the evacuation of 41 workers stranded for over a week.

Reiterating the commitment of the Centre, Prime Minister Modi assured the provision of essential rescue equipment and resources required for the evacuation. He emphasized the significance of joint efforts between Central and State agencies, underscoring the collaborative approach aimed at safely extricating the trapped workers.

A statement released by the Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s Office highlighted the Prime Minister’s emphasis on upholding the morale of the workers amid the challenging circumstances, indicating the empathetic stance adopted by the leadership towards the plight of those stranded.
