The Kerala High Court in the case Zainul Abideen V Union of India observed and has urged the State Government to take up the issue of exorbitant airfares to and from Gulf countries with the Central Government to help the Keralites employed there to meet their families.

The bench headed by Justice Devan Ramachandran in the case observed and has stated that the State Government was impleaded suo moto by the Court so as to help the people.
It has been submitted by the learned Government before the court that he has not received any instructions from the 5th respondent, State of Kerala.
