In the case of a neighbor making a minor sell drugs in Sector 56, Chandigarh, no action was being taken against the accused by the Chandigarh Police. Regarding this, the court has now reprimanded the Chandigarh Police and sought a detailed report of the case. It is worth mentioning that on receiving the complaint in this case, the then outpost in-charge of Sector 56, Prem Singh, instead of taking action against the accused, not only protested against the complainant woman but also dragged her to the police station. Due to this, Chandigarh SSP Kanwardeep Kaur had put the then outpost in-charge Prem Singh on the line.
