Excerpts
Q: Many women leaders talk about “breaking glass ceilings,” but do you believe the real challenge is the ceiling—or the walls built by our own conditioning?
A: Honestly, the ceiling was never my biggest problem—it’s the walls we unknowingly build around ourselves that are tougher to break. Society conditions us to be agreeable, accommodating, and cautious. The moment you stop seeking permission to lead, those walls start to crumble. The glass ceiling is external, but conditioning is internal—and the latter is where the real revolution begins.
Q: Innovation often comes with resistance. How do you stay firm on your vision when even the experts doubt your idea?
A: If everyone agrees with you too early, you're probably not innovating enough. Every breakthrough initially looks like madness until it becomes mainstream. I’ve learned to listen to feedback but not be defined by it. Vision needs both courage and patience—courage to go against the tide, and patience to let the results do the talking.
Q: Do you think being a woman leader brings an added layer of scrutiny—or a silent strength that men in similar positions may not have?
