CM Dhami Prays at Kedarnath, Garhwal Rifles Play Devotional Music

The opening of the temple doors marked the beginning of an important phase in the annual Char Dham Yatra, a significant pilgrimage for Hindus across the country.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was present at the auspicious event. He participated in the ceremonies and interacted with the devotees gathered at the holy site. CM Dhami also distributed prasad (sacred food offering) to the pilgrims attending the event at the Mukhya Sevak Bhandara (community feast) organized within the Kedarnath premises.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction over the state's preparations for the Char Dham Yatra, which began on April 30. He confirmed that the doors of Badrinath Dham, another key pilgrimage site in the Char Dham circuit, will open for devotees on May 4.
