Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, announced a substantial Rs 1 lakh crore investment in the North-Eastern region of India over the next ten years. The announcement was made on Friday during his address at the 'Rising Northeast Investors Summit' held in New Delhi. This new commitment effectively doubles the 50,000 crore investment the group pledged just three months ago during the Advantage Assam 2.0 summit held in February this year.

In his remarks, Adani stated, "Three months ago, in Assam, we pledged an investment of 50,000 crore. Today, once again, humbled and inspired by your leadership, I announce that the Adani Group will invest an additional 50,000 crore across the Northeast over the next 10 years." He emphasized that the group's investment would not just focus on infrastructure but would also prioritize social and community development.
