80% of developers forecast rise in NRI housing demand for 2024

A recent survey indicates that up to 80% of developers anticipate a significant increase in home purchases by non-resident Indians (NRIs) in 2024.

This trend is attributed to an attractive investment landscape, favourable regulations, and potential for financial gains.
The CREDAI – Colliers Developer Sentiment Survey 2024, released on Friday, analyzed responses from 553 developers across 18 states. According to the survey, developers plan to launch upscale residential projects in key micro-markets to cater to the rising demand from NRIs.
“The survey suggests that the current developer sentiment remains largely positive, with more than half of the respondents feeling bullish about the sustenance of the current market dynamics in 2024,” stated Boman Irani, president of CREDAI.
