Wanted ex-ASG falls after 13 years of hiding

The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) arrested a former member of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) who is wanted for murder and kidnapping during a follow-up operation in Basilan.
PNP-CIDG Director Police Major Gen. Nicolas Torre III said the operation was carried out on May 7 after his men confirmed the presence of the suspect in Barangay Lanote in Isabela City 13 years after the arrest warrant was issued against him.
