2 'scam hub' operators arrested, 2 Malaysians rescued in Quiapo

Two Chinese nationals were arrested and two Malaysians were rescued in Quiapo, Manila from an alleged scam hub that targeted foreigners, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

BI identified the two Chinese nationals as Wang Huihuang, 30, and Liu Lin, 35. The rescued Malaysians were not identified.

The Bl's Fugitive Search Unit (BI-FSU) arrested the two Chinese nationals last Friday, Sept. 12, in a residential building on Gonzalo Puyat Street in Quiapo.
