2 cops face dismissal over QC bar trouble

Two policemen from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) are now facing dismissal for allegedly creating trouble inside a bar early Wednesday morning, May 14, following a night of heavy drinking.
Police Maj. Gen. Anthony A. Aberin, director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), said he has already ordered the preparation for the filing of criminal and administrative charges against the two erring cops.
“They are now under restrictive custody. They are facing criminal cases of alarms and scandals and malicious mischief,” said Aberin, adding that this is separate from the administrative charges with a maximum penalty of dismissal from the service.
