A 30-year-old man who was set to get married in just five days died by suicide, reportedly due to financial stress and mental distress linked to wedding arrangements, at his house in Gachibowli late on Tuesday.

According to the police, M Venkata Krishna Srisai, a resident of My Home Mangala Apartments in Kondapur, was running a local animation company. He had gotten engaged to a young woman in Visakhapatnam on February 22, and their wedding was scheduled for April 12.
