'Cong responsible for Gurukul crisis'

Former Minister and senior BRS legislator T Harish Rao has held the Congress government responsible for the deteriorating conditions in Gurukul residential welfare schools across Telangana.
Citing multiple student deaths, suicides, and food poisoning incidents, he demanded immediate intervention from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
"The death of 93 students during the Congress regime's 20-month rule is painful and reflects administrative failure," he said, urging urgent steps to ensure food safety, prevent further student suicides, and restore the once-lauded reputation of Telangana's Gurukul education system.
